Zorghuis de Bolder, Huizen

De Bolder is an elderly home where different forms of living co-exist. From relatively independent elderly people to demented elderly. The studio was asked to design five walled gardens for this last group of people. This special group requires a special approach with a lot of attention to detail and enough positive stimulation. The five gardens are situated on a long corridor and are very similar. By making each garden very specific, giving each its own identity, the studio wants to turn a walk through the corridor like a walk through different landscapes. The bolder will then feel less like a labyrinth.
