DutchDFA

The workspace designed by Studio Makkink & Bey for DutchDFA, serves as meeting point for exchange between Dutch and Indian designers. The interior is a mix of Dutch and Indian styles and is designed by Studio Makkink & Bey. Furniture and lighting fixtures of Dutch origin were combined with parts and products manufactured by local craftsmen. Together with them we made a modular design that can be altered to use and users. Ahrend, Droog, Moooi, NgispeN Pols Potten and were asked to contribute to the realization of the interior plan that includes design classics that can be re-produced. Architects, designers and other entrepreneurs from the creative sector with plans to set up shop in India, can hire a workplace here including the use of meeting rooms. Workstations form part of a fully-equipped shared office space and can be rented for short and long term use.
