ABC institute for Achitecture / Haarlem
You are now in the work space of Jurgen Bey that has temporarily been relocated to the ABC institute for Architecture. There is no cabinet or filing system, no minimalist interior to 'clear the mind'. But there is a small intimate desk. The space is filled with a large amount of materials, shapes and different scales. Working at scale doesn't only create more space, but also means more creativity and fantasy. Ideas are allowed to fly. 'Full' and 'a lot' generate solutions and functions by random connections developing between different objects. Not the individual object, but the collection reveals the vision of the designer and the origin of his projects.
